"Make sure of all things;
hold fast to what is fine."
--Paul, 1 Thessalonians 5:21
The standing directive among Witnesses is to avoid and ignore anything said or published by individuals who would "question" the Society or who try to point out the errors of the "faithful and discreet slave,"and the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses reject information without ever proving for themselves the factualness of what they are being presented by the individuals.
These articles will not be of any assistance to those who refuse to countenance the possibility that the teachings of the Watchtower organization are in error and that spiritual harm can be or is caused by not only the promotion of erroneous teachings, but also the insistence that the Witness accept it as part of "the truth" as established by the Society. Such "loyal" Witnesses are probably quite content with the current body of teachings and, odds are, such ones will not even have read this far, having automatically labeled this site as "apostate," a term which carries significant "baggage" due to the Society's usage of the term, along with its well-known disdain for any exegetical discussions of the Bible among Jehovah's Witnesses apart from what the Watchtower organization publishes as its view of "truth."
These articles are provided for those who, like the Beroeans, desire to carefully examine the Scriptures and make sure that these things are so.

The following articles are provided by individuals who themselves either are currently Jehovah's Witnesses or are former Jehovah's Witnesses. However, the status of the individual writer cannot take precedence over the facts presented in the articles; judgment regarding the validity of statements or arguments presented must be based upon the statements or arguments made, not based on whether the writer is or is not currently a Witness, and why.
